EPF's Annual Report

Content

The European Panel Federation, representing the European manufacturers of particleboard, MDF, OSB, hardboard, softboard and plywood, is proud to present the 22nd issue of its Annual Report published on the occasion of its Managing Board Meeting on 17 June 2020.

This reference handbook for the wood-based panels industry in Europe and globally, which is also available electronically on USB-card, covers the following chapters:

  • Position of the Western European wood-based panels industry within the woodworking industry
  • The particleboard, MDF, OSB, fibreboard and plywood industries in the EPF member countries in 2019 - Facts and figures

NFB becomes part of EPF

At the latest general meetings of Feropa and EPF, the Feropa members and NFB owners decided that EPF would take over the Natural FiberBoard trademark from Feropa.

All former Feropa-members are invited to become a regular EPF-member.

In return for a membership fee, a members company benefits from the following specific membership services:

  • Invitation to participate in the meetings of the EPF General Assembly and of the Hardboards/Softboards working group;
  • Invitation to participate in the meetings of the technical and environmental working groups of EPF as well as in all task forces under these working groups;
  • Development of a separate statistical system for wet process fibreboards in the Hardboards/Softboards working group;
  • Representation of the interests of your company towards the European Union and other supranational authorities and institutions;
  • Inclusion on the relevant distribution lists of EPF so that you receive all relevant documents;
  • Invitation to attend the EPF Annual General Meeting, which will be an excellent occasion for you to meet the particleboard, fibreboard and OSB producers from all over Europe as well as suppliers, technical institutes and the specialised press. The next meeting is scheduled on 4th & 5th July 2013 in Dublin, Ireland;
  • Free copy of the EPF Annual Report (printed copy + CD-ROM), which has proved to be a valuable reference handbook for our sector and contains a detailed description of the latest developments in Europe and beyond, + the possibility to obtain more copies at a reduced price;
  • Your company (name, address...) will be mentioned in the EPF Annual Report and on the EPF website;
  • Reduced participation fee and possibility to give a presentation at the EPF Annual General Meeting or during the bi-annual technical European Wood-Based Panels Symposium.
